Silicast BU formula is designed to save money when mold making requirements allow for an inexpensive backer material to be used on the outside of the mold. It also works well when casting plastic, tin and wax!

Why use expensive material that will not come in contact with the castings. Our BU formula is made for a variety of manufacturing applications including architectural, belt buckles, costume jewelry, novelty, promotional, Pewter statues and prototyping in Tin and Lead spin casting alloys
